A new path

My blog died a little bit. A little bit? It died completely!
I still like to write, even better, I really love it! But why did I stop writing? Too busy? Did life happen? If it meant that much to me, I would have made time to write. This blog lost its purpose to me. I didn’t feel the urge anymore. Maybe I lost the urge at all.

But now there is something I want to share with you. Something I feel the urge to share with you. You may not always understand or agree, but I hope at least I can shed a little light on my perspective, life and adventures.

What is it? What is it? What is it? Tell me! You might think now.

I want show you, that even with asthma, you can accomplish epic sportive goals! Why do I want to write about this? Because it really means a lot to me! I want to inspire you to do the same! Or at least to make you laugh reading my blog.

I know I will never be the best or the fastes or the strongest. Even with al my medications the symptons of asthma never will go away for a 100%, but it does make you’re less dying during your workout.
Sometimes it bothers a lot me not being the best, it frustrates me big time. But I really need to let that go. We are just not the same. Our athletic results are not the same and they will never be. Even if we would do the exact same training schedule.

But with age comes wisdom. And even I’m getting better at letting go and stop comparing myself to others. The only one I’m comparing myself with is ME. Just me. Progress is key! It doesn’t matter how little or small or slow. If you put in the work, make an effort, showing up each time at practice, you’re doing an awesome job. Even on off-days when you don’t want to, you really don’t want to.

With my upcoming adventures I want to show you, that even suffering asthma, you can do epic (athletic) things. You want to run 5K? A 10K? Even a half marathon? It is possible! Most of the times our self doubt is holding us back, keeping us small. I want to aspire you to dream a little, make plans, set goals and reach those damn goals. No matter how big or small. No one can tell you you’re goal is too big or too small. You are the only person to validate your worth and your goals. Just let me inspire you!

I’m not writing this to get attention, or feeling sorry for myself or to just complain how it sucks to suffer from asthma. Au contraire, mes amies. I want to show you that so much is possible.

In my next post I will tell you more about my plans for 2018 and even 2019. And maybe later I will tell you about my previous adventures. But the main goal is to keep you posted on my journey to my new goals. Let’s go!

Ps. I’m not a certified coach or doctor or whatever. I just want to share my experiences and adventures being as athletic as I can be and be awesome.
