About me

One’s happiness can make an entire world smile

I am a 30-ish Dutch female trying to conquer the world. I think you could say I’m a late bloomer. But better late than never. Did you know there are a lof of amazing people who are late bloomers? Of course I can’t remember exactly who right now, but they’re epic. Just trust me on that one.

I looked it up on Google. I can’t stand not knowing the answer to my own question. Colonel Sander was already 65 when he founded KFC. Vivian Westwood was 36 when she opened her first punk clothing store. The ever awesome actress Helen Mirren got her first big role when she was 45. Toni Morisson published her first novel at age 4o. Diana Nyad was 64 when she swam from Cuba to Florida without a shark case. Chef Julia Child learned how to cook in her 40’s. I could go on and on. People like this give me hope, I’m not the only one, who gets her life together and already being in her thirties. That means I still could conquer the world!

Last february I started college (again). It will be a few years until I have my Bachelor degree. But than again better late than never. I finally found out what I really like to do and it’s okay to do things I enjoy. A few things I enjoy: yoga, Crossfit, running, writing, drawing, reading, trying new recipes, just being lazy, play guitar, riding my motorcycle…

My goals? Ehm… Run another half marathon, start training for a triathlon. Become a better cyclist, runner & learn how to swim properly.

Long term goals? Finally finish my book and of course publish it. Finding my soul purpose. And just stay healthy and happy.

XO
